Welcome to Kliks, a service provided by KLIQUE TECHNOLOGIES INC. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Kliks app, website, and services (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Account Creation and Verification

- Registration: To access the full functionality of Kliks, including creating or attending events, users must register by providing accurate and complete information.

- Verification: Verification is required if you wish to earn or spend Glint tokens. By signing up, you agree to provide accurate verification information when prompted.

- Username Policy: Usernames are unique and case-insensitive. The use of duplicate usernames with different case formats (e.g., “@SINGAPORE08” and “@singapore08”) is prohibited.

- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use.


2. Glint Tokens

- Earning Glint: Users earn Glint tokens upon successful verification and through specific activities like attending events or referrals.

- Purchasing Glint: Users may purchase additional Glint tokens via the app using supported payment methods.

- Token Usage: Glint tokens can be used to attend events (if required by organizers), view user profiles, or access exclusive features within the app.

- No Refunds: All Glint purchases are final, and refunds will not be provided unless required by law.


3. Event Creation and Attendance

- Creating Events: Users can create events, specifying details like event name, location, date, time, and maximum attendee limit (15 attendees per event). Event approval is not required but may be subject to removal if it violates our policies.

- Event Ownership: The organizer is responsible for managing the event, including its description and details. Once an event is created, the organizer can communicate with attendees via an announcement channel, which is automatically deleted after the event.

- Attendance Requirements: Users must check in and check out of events to positively affect their attendance rate. If a user marks attendance but fails to check in, it will impact their attendance score negatively.

- Past Events: Users cannot attend or register for past events. Once an event has ended, it will show as "ATTENDED" instead of "ATTENDING."

4. Location-Based Features

- Event Discovery: Events are shown based on the user’s current location. Users must ensure their location is updated correctly to receive relevant event recommendations.

- Location Privacy: You can manage your location settings within the app. Your location data is only used to provide relevant events and services.

5. User Profiles and Interactions

- Profile Viewing: Users may view another user's profile by spending Glint tokens. The user whose profile is viewed receives the Glint spent.

- Interests: Users can select interests during profile setup to receive event recommendations. We aim to provide a complete list of interests, but users can suggest new ones.

- Star System: Users gain stars based on the number of events attended (e.g., 1 star for 10 events, 2 stars for 100 events).

- Following: Users can follow others, but the following list is only visible when clicked.

6. Content and Conduct Guidelines

- Prohibited Conduct: Users are prohibited from:

 - Creating events or posting content that is offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or violates the rights of others.

 - Using the app to engage in fraudulent activities, including but not limited to falsifying event participation or location spoofing.

- Event Moderation: While we do not approve events before they are posted, we reserve the right to remove any event or user-generated content that violates our policies.

7. Termination of Services

- Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. We may also take legal action if necessary.

8. Data Privacy

- Privacy Policy: Your use of Kliks is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and use your personal data.

- Data Security: We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

9. Payments and Refunds

- Purchases: All purchases of Glint tokens and any other transactions made within the Kliks app are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

- Currency and Transactions: Payments for tokens or event-related purchases are processed in supported fiat currencies. We do not support the conversion of tokens into real-world money.

10. Intellectual Property

- Ownership: All content provided by Kliks, including trademarks, logos, and intellectual property, remains the sole property of KLIQUE TECHNOLOGIES INC. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

11. Liability and Disclaimer

- No Warranties: Kliks is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of services at all times.

- Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, KLIQUE TECHNOLOGIES INC. shall not be held liable for any damages or losses, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential, arising from your use of the Kliks app or services.

12. Dispute Resolution

- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].

- Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes arising from your use of Kliks, you agree to first attempt resolution through informal negotiation. If a resolution is not reached, the dispute may be settled through binding arbitration or small claims court.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our app and website, and we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of Kliks following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
